UPDATE ON SOLAR FLARES: Sunspot AR1560 (Uh-oh, they named it!) has more than quadrupled in size since first detected August 30th (SEE PICTURE). Now, the fast growing active region is directly facing our planet. (Uh-oh.) NOAA forecasters estimate a 40% chance of M-class solar fares during the next 48 hours (upgraded from C-class yesterday, X-class being the worst).
I Googled "AR1560" and have found NOTHING from the major media. If anyone sees anything, please share!
Oh well, consider this your wake-up call. Hopefully, as some are reporting, this CME will deal Earth nothing but "a glancing blow."
Hope it glances someplace else other than Texas!
Every blessing,
Michael Tummillo
